2-week battery life and even sync with Google Fit.
Smartwatches are slowly becoming somewhat of a necessity for some, but the high price usually drives them to reconsider. But Fossil’s new smartwatch brings in the basic features of a smartwatch and an analog watch at a price that’s less than what premium ones offer.
Fossil’s new Hybrid HR smartwatch features a 2-week battery life along with an e-ink display and even syncs with Google Fit. It runs on its own OS, but it’s compatible with iOS and Android devices.
The Hybrid HR has its own fitness tracker and includes various types of activity tracking including heart rate and can even send notifications from your smartphone. Other functions include dial personalization, music control, and interchangeable watch bands.
The two-week battery life was possible thanks to the e-ink display, similar to the one found on the Pebble Watch, one of the earliest smartwatches that were released years ago.
The Fossil Hybrid HR will come in different styles and will start at $195.
