Guess everyone’s excited to see the film.
As a closing chapter to the Infinity Saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many have flocked to cinemas since last Wednesday to watch Avengers: Endgame. While official numbers aren’t available yet, it looks like it is going to be another box-office hit which could even dethrone Titanic (or Avatar) as the number 1 movie of all-time.
Evidently, people are already emotionally invested in the franchise which caused some fitness trackers and smartwatches to report high heart rates on a resting state, as shown on some tweets by fans.
Just to note, a resting heart rate of more than 100 bpm (beats per minute) is usually not good -, especially for long periods.
I personally experienced this myself on my Apple Watch last week when watching Avengers: Endgame. I got three notifications about my heart rate going above 120 bpm during the movie’s three-hour runtime. I had to calm myself for a while to make the number go down at a normal rate.

My heart rate went from 56-150 within about two seconds during the movie last night and my watch went wild alerting me to breathe lol. End game literally almost sent me into cardiac arrest. Yikes.

As you can see, moviegoers can be this excited on a film so just in case you haven’t seen it, try to calm yourself down and just enjoy the movie.
Avengers: Endgame is now showing and is already tracking to hit $1 billion after only a few days of release.
