Social media lit up with supposedly overheating consoles.
Just the other day saw the launch of the Xbox Series X/S around the world, as gamers finally get to experience next-gen gaming since it was announced last year.
But just hours after being released, videos of what supposedly is smoke coming from the top vent of the Xbox Series X has been circulated online and has gathered negative reactions on social media saying that the fastest console in the world is now overheating.

But as you can expect with the internet, videos similar to what you’ve seen above sometimes have a different context. In this case, it was found out that some users were simply vaping through the console’s vents to make the smoke rise up to the top.
Microsoft already said that it is investigating the issue when but please, don’t go vaping inside your Xbox Series X. There’s a good chance that the warranty may not cover it in case something happens.
We can't believe we have to say this, but please do not blow vape smoke into your Xbox Series X.
