Well, almost.
The Nintendo Switch has already proven itself to be a versatile piece of hardware – but as an Android device? That could be happening soon. Just to be clear – Nintendo isn’t partnering with Google to bring Android to the gaming device, but instead, a couple of developers is trying to bring Android Q to the Switch.
Developers Billy Laws and Max Keller managed to put a somewhat working version of Android Q in a Nintendo Switch and since the console uses an ARM-based processor, migrating the operating system is technically possible.

It is unknown if the developers are committed to bringing a fully-working version of Android on the Nintendo Switch, but just seeing this video opens up a plethora of possibilities on what the handheld device can do.
The Nintendo Switch may be launched later than the PS4 and Xbox One, but it was quickly shot up to be one of the best-selling consoles for Nintendo in a while.
