Panasonic has just recently introduced the latest model in its Travel Zoom (TZ) series, the LUMIX DMC-TZ220. This camera can support up to 15x zoom and sports a 1-inch large High Sensitivity MOS Sensor for the best image quality possible.

The LUMIX TZ220 features the new 24 mm ultra-wide angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens and a 5-axis O.I.S.+ that can take clear images even when your hands are shaky – this applies to both photo or when you’re shooting 4K video. The lens can also let you shoot macro shots as close as 3 cm.

The camera supports a 20.1-megapixel high resolution with supported shooting modes of up to 12800 ISO. The internal image processor is fast enough to support shooting at 4K resolution. The LUMIX TZ220 also includes the upgraded Live View Finder (LVF) and a 3-inch touchscreen display that gives 100 percent field of view.

Other features of the LUMIX TZ220 include high-speed burst shooting at 10 fps, 4K recording at 30p or 24p with support for Live Cropping for more stable zooms and pans. The camera also includes Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Stay tuned for a full review of the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-TZ220 soon.
