June 15, 2016

Leaked invite might confirm   the release date.

After some leaked renders of Samsung upcoming phablet the Galaxy Note 6, we may now know when the company is planning to announce the device based from a leaked invite courtesy of SamMobile.

Just like its previous events, the invite points to another ‘Unpacked’ even that will happen on the 2nd of August at 11 AM EST which will also be livestreamed on YouTube.

The invite also highlights the tagline, “the next edge is just around the corner” which may hint that the Galaxy Note 6 will have a new curved display. We ca speculate that this curved display might point to a similar feature found on the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Rumors also point that the new phablet will run on the new Snapdragon 823 or Exynos 8890 processor depending on your region along with 6 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage with microSD compatibility. It is also rumored to come with a large 5.8-inch quad HD display and a massive 4000 mAh battery.
