If you’re using Google Chrome.

YouTube’s livestream feature has already been a preferred platform by some, and it’s about to get easier. Starting today, YouTube will now let you livestream from your web browser using your PC’s webcam.

To do this, simply head to www.youtube.com/webcam and then select ‘Go live’ to start the livestream. It’s straightforward and you don’t have to install any other additional software. YouTube’s livestreaming support will initially support the Google Chrome browser – but YouTube promises that support for other browsers will arrive soon.

“So whether you want to hold a mini concert, teach snowboarding or celebrate a milestone with fans, these tools will make it easier to share and interact with your community live,” YouTube said in a blog post.

The support livestreaming is now available for all Google Chrome users, with support for mobile devices coming in the future.
