BenQ Zowie XL2411P: Made for the serious gamer
November 26, 2018

Let’s check out this new gaming monitor from BenQ.

BenQ has clearly has stepped their game with their Zowie line of monitor built especially for gaming. Their latest, the Zowie XL2411P now joins the ranks of other gaming monitors we’ve tested as some of the best. Specs-wise, the XL2411P is 24-inch display with a resolution of 1920-by-1080. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate along with other BenQ-exclusive technologies that would give you a better gaming experience.

One of these technologies is Black eQualizer that improves visual clarity in dark scenes so you can easily spot enemies in those areas that are usually hard to see. Also present is Color Vibrance, which lets you easily tune your preferred color tone.

From the outside, the XL2411P’s design is pretty much straightforward – a matte exterior covers the entirety of the monitor that sits on a sturdy stand where you adjust its height along with the tilt, swivel, and pivot. The XL2411P also has a decent set of input ports including DisplayPort, DVI, and HDMI. There’s also a headphone jack included so you can connect audio peripherals directly to the display.

The low input lag along with fast 1 ms response time plus the 144 refresh rate easily gives the XL2411P the winning advantage when used for first-person or MOBA games. In our tests, games have been more fluid compared to normal monitors. Ghosting is mainly eliminated, which is the usual problem with fast-moving games. Unfortunately, the XL2411P doesn’t support AMD FreeSync, which could have been a good addition to a decent feature set.

All of the other functions of the XL2411P can be accessed inside the menu settings. There are available presets that you can immediately switch to, including FPS and RTS modes. You can of course, customize your own profile and assign it to a Gamer profile.

Overall, the BenQ Zowie XL2411P’s feature set and performance is enough to justify its 999 AED price. It has all the necessary bells and whistles that would satisfy any gamer, and we’re definitely fans of its near-perfect performance.

We Love:

+ 144Hz refresh rate

+ Excellent gaming performance

+ Decent pricing

We Hate:

– Support for AMD FreeSync would be welcome

Final Rating: 4.5/5
