The new version of Lenovo’s Yoga Slim 9 now comes powered with the Intel’s new 12th Gen processors as well as a refreshed design. Fans of the Yoga series won’t be disappointed, delivering another great notebook performance worthy of its name.
Our favorite part of the notebook is the incredible 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen that brings brilliant colors to any content especially HDR. Brightness is uniformed with impressive black levels. The touchscreen is responsive and while it’s great to navigate the notebook with touch, it does result in fingerprints and smudges that we ended up wiping all the time.
Smooth edges line up the sides and corners of the Yoga Slim 9 that’s a welcome design choice compared to other hard-edged laptops with sharp corners. Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports are lined up on the left side with an additional port on the right including an audio port. The keyboard retains the familiar Lenovo layout that’s great to type on. A spacious touchpad is also provided, giving you lots of room to navigate where you don’t need to use an external mouse.
Performance-wise, the Yoga Slim 9 works great for everyday use thanks to the 12th Generation Intel Core processor and 16GB of RAM. The notebook is also Intel Evo certified, ensuring that that notebook performs fast, connects fast, and charges fast. During our tests, the laptop provided sustained performance whether it was writing emails, browsing social media sites or simply streaming a movie.
Much like the rest of the Yoga series, the new Yoga Slim 9 again delivers portable computing power without compromise. Enhanced by Intel’s Evo standards, you’ll get a great performing notebook fit for use anywhere.
